a/c problems anyone?

got a small problem and a big problem with my heating/ A/C. the small problem is that when i turn either of them on the air blows out of the windsheild vent and floor vents all the time no matter where the dial is switched to. the big one is that the face vents dont blow out at all. no matter where the switch is turned to the face blowers dont blow any air out (hot or cold). this just started happening all of a sudden about 4 months ago and i cant figure it out. anybody know what the hell is up with that?

my problem is when i turn a/c on temp gauge starts slowly going up at idle when i'm driving it goes back down ???...luckily i don't use it much

first problem sounds like the blower selector switch has just gone bad. Dark demon's problem sounds like the fans arent kicking on.

I had a similar problem on a dodge ram with the air only coming out of the defroster vents and it turned out that the vacume diaphram was clogged by the hvac enclosure.
