roller rockers and valve covers

what can i use that will fit the roller rockers i just need something taller and were can i find them do any parts shops sell center bolt valve covers?

I installed 1.6's on my lt1 with the stock covers and they're fine.

what brand roller rocker?ive got 1.5 crane rollers under my stock valve covers.no problems

mine arent i havent set the lash or any of them yet but the covers dont mate with the heads they sit up off the head

What brand do you have? Also you shouldn't have to set the lash. Put each cyl on tdc, tighten untill zero lash plus 1/2 to one complete turn.

I'm just Comp Cams 1.6 Pro Mag RR on my car with stock covers. I just bent the little "L" shaped brackets straight and they fit on fine.

fcat8187 - what valvecovers are you trying to use? Have you looked inside them to see what is hitting? Some valvecovers have drip guides that could be trimmed, or an oil-filler-hole baffle that can be trimmed or removed.

I have LT4 resin valvecovers on my 383 and they fit the Comp Cams hi-tech 1.6 rockers perfectly.
