Default How to.....??

How do i get the crank shaft pully off??? I have the 3 bolts out but the damn thing will not move...

Ah, you will now need a harmonic balancer puller or some called it duck's foot I think. Your local parts still will have them. Try Autozone, you might be able to borrow one for free.

i have one but the way it works it looks like its gonna take the hub and all off...

will i have to take the center bolt out of the hub?

You shouldn't have too. Unless your puller is different from the one I use, there's a long threaded rod that goes in the center of the puller and is shaped like a crow's foot (nearest animal I could think of) install the three smaller bolts into the smaller holes after you remove the three bigger bolts installed in the balancer. You should be able to thread the rod into the center and when it starts to get tight, use a socket wrench and keep tightening it until it pulls the balancer off. I use a fine sand paper and smooth some of the rust off the hub and inside of balancer, and I spray some lithium grease on it, so it won't rust back up next time I go to pull it off.

Oh ok, pull the balancer, leave the hub. I can't remember how I did that. I think I used a small board to pry it off. Been a while since I did that.
