Alright, I bought a 1993 Pontiac TA to put all of my extra parts on and sell to recoup some of my money in parts (Procharger P1sc twin intercooled system, custom two-toned interior, 19x10 and 20x10 wheels and tires, misc rear suspension parts, etc). Anyway the car had a Hypertech programmer in it and since I put the supercharger on the LT1 I cannot use the programmer. The car is an auto, but I was under the impression that the 93TA's had 700R4 not a 4L60E. I called Hypertech to find out who I can sell the programmer to, and they said it can only be used in another auto 93LT1, I don't understand why? 700R4 aren't computer controlled, neither is a manual so why can't the programmer be used on any 93 LT1 car? Any info would be appreciated, and if anyone is interested in the chip PM me.
Thanks

You cant use programers for 93's. We dont have flash ECUs. Your going to have to get a mailorder chip. And im pretty sure, unless of 2 months ago that hypertech doesnt make a programer for 93s.
