Default Spark plug or opti?

OKay. I took my car to get it dyno tuned. It started misfiring after about 5k rpms. It was one spike after another. Now, would that be opti or could it be that my plugs were not gapped right or something. Also, the block I bought rated at 420hp. I was at 430hp at 4800 rpms. I was at around 7 lbs of boost and I max around 15lbs. I barely got to tap into the supercharger at 4800 rpms. What numbers do you think I would have put up if I could have gotten it up to 7200, getting all of my boost with no misfiring?

i would check plugs and wires first. then look at the cap for any cracks or tracking. i hate trying to find misfires. luckily mine are usually pretty easy to find ie wires burned on primaries or cut up by the pulleys. good luck

Well, I guess now would be the time to do it all because the top end is pulled off the block. I recently bought the opti and it had no miles on it when I dyno'd my car, so it's most likely not the cap. I'm guessing that it's the spark plugs or wires. Thanks.
