Rear End Question

Is there much of a difference in the stock unit in my 96 Z28 vs the high performance auburn unit ? THANKS GUYS !

You mean differences between the posi units? No, what's stock in your car is an Auburn already. If you're going to upgrade look at the Torsen posi.

If you're looking to keep from breaking the 10 bolt then the problem doesn't lie in the posi, it's the housing itself.

You can help extend life a bit by going with shorter gears(ie: 3.42s) because there is more contact patch between the ring and pinion gears. It will likely be more tolerable to the diff cover stretching than say 4.10s.
