the age old Front End conversion

now i know guys like CONVERTED, or 95formulalt1, or boyd and XxXTransAmXxX have done this but it's my turn...they talked a lot about a whole list of stuff that you need i was hoping to get a copy and any tips and pointers as i embark on this mission to make the front end 98+...so....help please thank you

Everything you need from a newer front end, Replaces the parts from you fron end. Get the idea?

well yeah i get that but people had parts lists and prices and stuff at one point but they were just emailing them out...there were brackets and things...there is a kit i can buy for 2 grand that SAYS it has everything and i just want to run it down ya know? then i was hoping for some times some "dont do this" and "make sure to do this" stuff from experience

I've done the conversion. The only part I needed from the GM house was the bracket that holds the frame to the Bumper. I think they call it the bumper support. Im not sure what that part # was.
Some people will tell you to get 2 other brackets that hold bolt up each fender to the bumper. But I never needed them.
All other stuff is interchangable. Fenders, front bumper, Foam support & Impact Bar, Headlight assemblies, Hood. Make sure you get the whole headlight assembly.

Someone actually needs to make a thread on this and make it a sticky. A "How to" I guess. With part #'s
