Default anyone with a trashed lt1 block I need caps

I need a couple of main caps off of a lt1, I bought a couple from someone, but am yet to recive them, I need them to reassamble my engine and get it running again, any help would be great. I know some one has to have a good set of caps on a trashed block.

I don't know where else to get them, because gm said they only want to sell them in a crank kit, with all five caps (at $80 apiece) and a new crank.

I dont know about the lt1's, but on the gen 1 motors, main caps arent universal. They are specific to the block. You might get lucky and have some pop in right but odds are they wont be exact.

I bought the splayed mains, and it only came with the three center caps, and someone cleaned out all my parts I had stored, which the caps were with them, so now I need #1 & #5. and they must not be block specific, because gm will sell them. as well as with the gen 1, you can have the used ones machined by shaving a little off the mating surface and then having them line bored to make them work as well.

True, but they wont sit as they should. This is what my engine builder told me. Hes been building racing engines for over 30 years. So im sure it has some truth in it.

that might be true in some cases, but with how accurate some newer pieces of equiptment are I am sure it has cut down on that in the last 30 years. but if not, does anyone know where to buy a full set, I haven't drilled the splays yet, so if there are full sets, I could even go with them. it would be better anyway having all five mains splayed, are there any?
