Default my starter..pics..

well i was having some big problems with my car there was problem after problem...and tehn after changing the opti my car woundt start......here are pics of my starter after i took it off

Looks like your timing is off, I did the same thing to my starter in my SBC GEN1 350. The car kicked back becuase the timing was off and snapped the case. I know we have computer controlled timing advanced but if the car isnt at TDC and the opti inst aligned up right it could kick back the flywheel and damage the unit. I mean it did happen to me. this may help you.

sdo more to the point did the car start up and run or did it crank, kick over and stall?? Mine was due to a distributor issue, yours sounds like the same

it started off at first.. where it wanted to turn over adn then slowly it did that so i dont really know what the **** it was...i replaced my cap and rotor and it still doesnt want to start

yea it did hurt.....my car is still not starting..i dont even know where to go with this..u think my car not starting could be due be due to my new tune...i changed the starter, opti...cap and rotor...and i dont even know what to do
