carrier question alright i know my 95 A4 has 2.73s. so am i correct on saying that its a 2 series carrier. i found some 3.73s for a 2 series carrier for cheap so im thinking about buying them. should i do it?

The 2 series is a bit thicker, that's basically it. If you have 3.xx gears for a 2 series that will work just fine. Or you can get standard gears and swap the carrier to a 3 series as well.
if i were you i'd just buy the gears your looking for with the 2 series carrier. the shop that installed mine said it would be abuot another 100 bucks or so for the 3 series carrier (my dumbass ordered 3 series instead of 2).
