Default Trans Am Vs WS6

how much more valuable is a WS6 then a non ws6 trans am? i mean i know it has upgraded mounts, supspension, and ram air.... but do these items have the potential to be bolted on to a non ws6 for the same outcome? what im trying to get at is, would it be more feasable to get a non ws6 and upgrade or just get a stock ws6? thanks again guys, youve yet to let me down

most ppl with ws6s upgrade thew suspenion n-eways so i say unless you get a great deal go with a non.cause the ws6 part arent that much greater than the nons.aside from the gorgous hood.

yea, performance wise, the WS-6 isnt a whole lot better, the ram air helps a bit but thats really the only engine difference, the entire engine is the same, also the suspension is upgraded a bit, but aftermarket upgrades are still better. WS-6's are more expensive because they are slightly upgraded and harder to find. If you can get a good deal on one then go for it, but the trans am is just as good, just buy the hood. but as far as modification, they both have the same potential.

thats what i wanted to hear. thanks!

are the air boxes hard to find? im sure theres probably just an SLP box that i slap on there.... which reminds me... does the lt1 use a mass air flow meter? would adding an slp box mess with that? im gonna go look up SLP and see if they come with the meters anyway. any more info would be great guys thanks!

just go with a cold air kit looks better and bperforms the same and cheaper

well the one thing i dont like about trans ams is the hood. unless its a ram air, so if i got a t/a id get a ram air hood
