stall(if auto).. gears... CAI.. exhaust... rollerrockers.... should not have a problem with a stock ls1..... gothe route im going.. i guess (by the way people are talking in my topic)... a good set of heads and matching cam will lay the smack down on the LS1's, even when they have some modifications..... then the next step is a little spray or boost. once you have that, the car will be fast enough to scare ya on the street.. lol. should be at least.

to tell you the truth it all depends on the drivers.... HP to HP the LS1 should when because of the VE of the cylinder heads...... Lt1's have a broader torque band vs. HP but the LS1 has a braoder torque and HP band..... If u have a CAI, LT headers, Cat-back, and a better tune then stock, the LT1 can possibly edge out or beat the LS1...... way better if the LT1 is a six speed.... Dont race an auto vs a manuel unless u have the right mods on either car....

My Lt1 had a few bolt ons and it ran right with a LS1.. But the LS1 will out flow the Lt1.. they would start to creap away from me at higher speeds.
