Need Help Picking A Block
Need Help Picking A Block Well my project is going to take place this winter.... And im getting a new block , stroker kit , & H/C package from port pros. But i need advice on picking the right options.
First decision to make is 383 or 396 ?
Im thinking im gonna go with the 383 because ive heard the 396's are kinda weak and id like to run a fairly big direct port shot... and a big cam.
But the second decision I have to make is short or long block?
This one ive tried searching on tried reading on and cant find much info on the differences? Is it still a direct swap? This is the one i really need help with thanksin advance guys.
