Haven't heard anything bad about any k members. I think I would spend the extra cash to get a chromemoly one ( even more weight loss). I've also heard that you should keep your upper a arms= stock are less weight than tubular (even cm).

I have several BMR LT1 K members in stock. One is a display model that I'll give you a good discount on.

Here are some pics of what the BMR K member looks like installed. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...tCar.php?car=7 Bob

Ive heard the cromemoly ones shouldnt be used on a daily driver as they are more prone to cracking because the material is so much harder.
Ive always liked BMR stuff, and would definitely recommend using there stuff verse some of the competition.
Im also looking for a K-member, Exotic Performance Plus - PM sent.

I have a Pro-Fab on my '94 and a AJE Racing on my '02. Both fit fine but the powder coating on the Pro-Fab is weaksauce. If you even look at it wrong it starts flaking off. Don't know if that is typical or just my bad luck, but I've done several sessions under the car with a can of touch up paint and brush in hand.

The tubular K member's are for weight reduction and added header clearance. You lose a lot of weight, I don't know how much off hand, but the shipping weight for the BMR K member is 50lbs including the box.
The discounted display model one is $340.00. There is nothing wrong with it. It has the engine mounts and is set up for the factory steering rack. Shipping is $20.00 for most areas close to the Midwest. Bob

I think they are fine for a daily. Just ensure that you zip tie your brake lines and ABS wiring. That's the one thing I didn't like is that you have to jury rig those components with most aftermarket K-members. On my '94 the ABS wire on the passenger side did bump the header once and got a small burn spot but nothing serious. I had to go back and add another zip tie. My car also developed a "clunk" up front under moderately heavy braking. Have not figured out exactly what is causing this, but it appeared right after the K-member install. Could be the bracket that holds the brake lines. On the passenger side, I don't like how I had to leave mine kinda "floating" just held by zip ties. It bolts to the stock K-member, but on the Pro-Fab there is no provision.

I am already forgetting, but I think the weight savings was ~32 pounds I weighed both and knew it exactly when I did the swap, but I have already forgotten.

Install the engine on the k-member outside the car to ensure you dont have motor mount hole or Steering rack holes are alignede properly. I had issues on both with my BMR k-member.

pm'd you back.
