Default Headers...(Gaskets and Bolts?)

So I've pretty much decided on getting none emission legal coated pacesetter LT's.

I've heard removing EGR and AIR does nothing for you other than hurt your gas mileage but I'd rather not deal with putting that stuff back on and it'll be nice to get some stuff out of the way.

So here's the question I know the gaskets and bolts they give you are **** so whats gaskets and bolts do you guys think I should go with.

I was thinking ARP bolts but I have no idea for gaskets.

Any advice/help would be apreciated.

felpro 1406 gaskets and ARP 1 inch stainless bolts are a very popular choice. If u wanted to spend more money on the bolts and get locking ones you could get stage 8 locking bolts but I have heard great things of the ARP and thats what I am going to buy.

I always vote for copper gaskets cuz if you happen to not get a bolt tight as it should and you have an exhaust leak, the copper won't be blown out. If you get the conventional type gaskets and for any reason their seal is broken, more than likely you'll need a new one.

I went with ARP bolts and Percy's Deadsoft Aluminum gaskets on my C4 with EM longtubes and I have had no "DRAMA"'.
I use the aluminum gaskets for the same reasons stated earlier for copper gaskets.
The one thing I would do different is I would go with different bolts. I bought the 12pt bolts and some of the bolts were a pita to install since I had to get a socket or box end on them. With 12pt bolts you can't use an open end wrench. I suggest the six point or allen headed bolts.
