Ok, so you're not asking what it takes to beat an LS1, you're asking if what you have is what it takes to beat an LS1. THATS THE SAME DAMN THING! People are trying to tell you, since you have a CAI and catback, you will get beat... so get some gears, a stall, and headers with an ORY and you can beat him.

ls1 is way better. if an lt1 was better gm would have keept making it. but i just have bolt on's and everytime i race an ls1 with the same mods, it's a slose race. i've beaten plenty of ls1's and lost to some. if i had to pick i would take an ls1 any day of the week.

i beat a ls1 with my stock lt1, he only had like 8 lbs of boost so it was no contest, i just pushed my "beat ls1 button" and then i was gone. hell i was pulling on an ls2 yesterday but a car cut in front of me and the vette got ahead. i'll get him next time though.

a bolton only car is one with no internal engine mods. cam is internal engine so not a bolton.
