Default different lt1's ?

Whats up guys, im not very familiar with the lt1's at all hence the reason for the question. Anyways, there is a 93 camaro up for sale near by but I was looking at the aftermarket parts and most exclude the 93 they only mention 94-97. Is there much difference btwn the 93's and the rest? Should I pass up the car and wait for an 94+? Any help is appreciated.

Here are the differences. 93's had speed density, 94 and up use MAF. 93-95 are OBDI and have a single cat. 96-97 are OBDII and have duel cats. Those are the only differences that I know of.

the 93 has the 4l60 trans which is the same as the 700-r4.and 93 is the only one with a non soddered chip in it.the 93 react to mods better and if its a six speed it might have the vette set up .if its a good price go for it.they make plenty of after market parts for it.try www.speeddensity.org for mor info on 93s (sorry mods)

Thanks for the info. The car is 2,500. I can't say if its good or not yet because the owner is on vacations and I havn't been able to check it out yet. It's an A4. Oh, how hard is it to convert it into a M6? Would only the trans out of a 93 fit or could I use the later year transmissions. Sorry for all the questions still debating if I should grab the car or dump the money into my truck.
