4l60-e problems

I'm posting this up for a friend.He had a lt1 + 4l60 tranny put into an 88 iroc.His problem is the tranny doesn't want to shift out of first gear unless he is at wot.Thaks for the help.

Did all the sensors get hooked up properly? Did you double check your fluid level?

As far as I know all sensors are connected.The only thing that didn't get connected was the traction control system.

Verify the VSS signal with a scan tool.
