Replacing Opti-Spark, Cap & Rotor - Advice?
Replacing Opti-Spark, Cap & Rotor - Advice? After all the drama with my car we tore it apart and it ended up being the Opti-Spark. Since the MSD Pro-Billet isn't avaliable until late this month or sometime in February, and I'm paying a car payment and all that I want to get it running. So I want to throw the 96-97 Vented Opti in, along with an MSD Cap and Rotor. My question is, if I get the Vented Opti, will I have to buy the Cap and Rotor that works with the 96-97 or the Cap and Rotor that works with the 93-95's?
Also, where is the best play to get the Vented style opti pretty cheap, I'm not going to pay 500 bucks for the GM Vented one directly from them.

he might be able to tell you everything u need for the conversion... i know a newer timing cover is necessary.
