Default lt4 hot cam kit

I am going to install an lt4 hot cam kit in my 94 z-28 automatic, does anyone know if I can run my stock torque converter?

the hot cam has enough low end to work with it. but it will run alot better with a higher stall

Stock is fine, I ran stock, then a 2000 rpm pro torque stall. It worked GREAT! I will warn you though unless you get the stall wall fix (pcmforless.com) if you go above that rpm when the car launches it will hit the wall and automatically go into 3rd gear. it sucks. I ran into that issue this year with my Hotcam, 383 with 2500 rate stall....

Yes stock will work fine, but a bit of stall will be better

I ran the stock stall for over a year, then when I swapped a TH350 trans in and used the 200rpm stall that came with it, Now im going to a TCI thats 3k+.
