my favorite way to test the opti, is with a timing light, put a tdc mark on your crankshaft pully with a marker, or a piece of tape. when you are testing it, if your opti is bad, then your mark will be all over and or spuratic not fireing every other rotation.
has worked every time for me, on mine and others that I have worked on.
I bought it thinking I was going to run my car last year well my new motor took allot longer than I expected to build didnt get it runing till to late in the season to even get it out and I just upgraded from a stock recalibrated pcm to a big stuff 3 dfi and the only ignition system the guy from bs3 uses is a ls1 coil per cylinder setup with a crank triger and a cam sinc dummy didtributor I was hoping he could wire it in with the delteq but they recomended me going to coil per cylinder per the amount of hp and nos I will be spraying.So I am selling it and buying thier setup thanks.
