Default Give me an idea of the power for these mods?

Trying to research the competition and dealt with a lt1 camaro last night on the streets with an auto, rebuilt forged motor, intake, full exhaust, slicks, 4.10's, and cam.

Can someone clue me in as to the power this would make at the motor or ground and what kind of 1/4 times? Thanks

gonna need some more specs engine wise. Like maybe which cam?, stock heads? etc, but sounds like it could be an easy 12 sec car. Power wise, if the heads are stock, might be looking at 340rwhp or so. Still tough to tell. Sounds like the car is ready to run with the general setup you described.

To my knowledge it's still utilizing stock heads and I don't know what cam but it was mild, didn't have even a moderate lobe to it i'd say. Just trying to get an idea of what such a thing would run. The lt1's weigh in at 3600lbs or so?

Really hard to tell one person can throw a whole pile of money at a car and maybe drop a second in the quarter. Another can do more research and more careful parts selection and go faster with a lot less effort and money. For example on the b-body side of the LT1 thing the average stock car is very high 14s to mid 15s with a lot of bolton cars run high 13s a few have managed to go mid 12s and one 12.3, almost 3 seconds gained in the quarter with noting more in the motor than rockers and springs.

Oh stock unported heads with a forged bottom would be a great example of how someone can spend lots and end up with little to show for it. I realize you are not saying he absolutely had exactly this but it is just one way lots of mods can give poor results.

Yeah I understand what you mean 100%. To my knowledge he blew his previous motor so this time he went with a forged setup and im imagining he's going along with mods as he can afford them.
