Unhappy Oops broke somethin....

Ok well this weekend while trying to shove my headers up from the bottom, i pushed too hard and broke off the connecter that sits on the block for the water temperature. The connecter that goes into that is just hanging in my engine bay.

How can this be fixed, i need to know how hot i am running lol.

I did that....I glued the connector back on the sensor and it worked for over a year. Then when I drained my coolant, I just took the old one out and put a new one in and spliced a new connector in there. DON'T get the NAPA sensor! Mine reads 15-20deg high.,,,

ok well went and bought a new one, only it came with the sensor and a new plug in. so i remove the old sensor and put the new one in and notice i cant use my old plug in because it is different. So with the provided wire i noticed it has two wires and my stock one only has one, how do i wire this? (stock has green wire, new one has black and yellow)

I think "they" gave/sold you a wrong sensor... I got mine at Advance, it was under $8.00 and it was identical.
Did "they" give you a TEMPERATURE SWITCH/SENDER instead of a COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR......?

whatever they gave me was wrong i went back and got the right one.

Even after i asked them 2 times, "this doesnt look like it and i dont need the connecter just the sensor, your sure you dont sell this seperate, or is this the wrong one?"

Checker = idiots (most of the time)
