LT1--need shortblock or Used bottom end
LT1--need shortblock or Used bottom end So it appears I have a bottom end knock...I can only hear it at idle, not loud at all, oil pressure is fine and power is good..but the knock worries the **** out of me.(she does have 165k all orig)

Go there, click on engine packages. A not build up brand new engine will cost around 3K, but i think it's well worth it if you plan on keeping it. used you could find cheap bare, finding a full one........look on ebay and type LT1 motor
