Default proper LT1 break in

ive heard different things about breaking in the engine. one was to jack up the rear end and put it in drive for a while, then some say just let it run awhile and after 2000 miles, change the oil and you're good to go. what do you all think?

ok... change oil at 500 miles.. keep using natural oil.... dont drive at a constant speed... try to vary the rpms.... at 2500 miles change oil to synthetic...

as for when you "can" rod on it... i have no idea... mine had probly 800 on it and i was getting in it (not all the time or anyhitng.. but that is when i first did)...

On mine I used coastel oil, because of the cleaning agents it has and changed the oil after 500 miles. At 2000 miles you should have full power since everything gets settled down.
