Damn, what should I do?
Somebody else pipe in here, but if it were me I'd undo that side of the headers to the head, also at the collector, drop it down, move it forward or backwards until you can fit a tap in their at the correct angle to clean the threads. But I'd go ahead and heli-coil it if I made enough room for access. This will allow you to torque it properly. You probably know what a leaking hearder can do.

I'll talk to f-body central and see if I can drop off my car when I visit my GF to see if he could give me a quick estimate on tapping it or heli-coiling. I can see the smoke, and smell it. I KNOW it's gotta be from that area, common sense points me there.
