Horsepower Estimate I'm wondering what some of you guys think the fwhp will be on my in progress 383 build ?
10.5:1 compression
trickflow heads (out of the box)
custom grind comp cam 230/236 @.050 583/586 lift 112 lsa
hooker longtubes
58mm holley throttle body
30lb ford injectors
tuner cat tune

I'd say maybe 475hp give or take a few, and you'll have ground-stomping torque! My setup is similar with only the injectors, compression, and exhaust being different. Ok, so that can make a definite difference, but overall, our motors are close to being similar. I'm using 42lb SVO injectors, a true dual exhaust setup with no cats, and 11.8:1 compression.
