Seriously I believe within the year there will be at least one alternative intake, the STUPIDITY going on with the LT4 intakes will ensure this. What I wont hold my breath on is it actually being an improvement, like I said all they need to do is build something and it will sell fast.

Maybe Fast will come out with a LTX intake and throttle body! I just hope its not going to get heat soaked. I buy more ice for the car than my cooler!

A composite intake would be nice. Like mentioned the ltx intake is a good intake, but there can be improvements made upon it.

Been listening to rumors for so long we started building our own! It would be nice to have an after market outlet for them now that LT4s have gone through the roof

I think Composite would be the best way for them to make a manifold that will sell and perform. They need to make it so the LT1 TB will still fit because if you gotta buy a special TB to go with it that would probably put it out of alot a peoples budget.

If they actually do come out with one, I'll be waiting for some dyno results to see if whatever manifold they produce is worth my $$$.

If there ever was a time that the aftermarket for an LTx intake manifold was going to come... It would be now. Everyone is freaking out about the LT4's going out that they don't know what to do. It's prime time for someone to step up and offer an alternative...... but it could easily suck.

The LT1 manifold is pretty good already. Unless it's a large motor combo, we are not really in need of more plenum volume, just some changes in the runner design. Knowing edlebrock, they might try to form some kind of air gap intake which might be nice. I just hope they don't throw something together, knowing that a lot of people will soak it up, and not be any better then stock.
