Default CC305 Question, Setup.

OK so i think ive found my cam, im gona do the 305 with the 112LSA from thunder. Now i just need to peice together the rest of the Valvetrain.

1.6 NSA Pro Magnum RRs
I dont know what type of springs, but i want lift to .600
I dont know what type of retainers, steel or titanium?
I dont know what pushrods, one piece or chromoley?
And Lifters?
GM Guide Plates

If i missing anything let me know. I plan on gettin parts tommorow.

For the NSA rockers, you'll need to change the studs to 7/16. As for the guide plates, you will need to have your heads clearanced to use them. Also remember that self aligning rockers tend to be a little more noisey than non-self aligning ones. If you do go to a non-self aligning rocker, you may wanna go with hardened pushrods since the guideplates can wear away the sides of a softer pushrod.

Stock lifters are fine. I have no problems with my 11 year old lifters(cam installed in 2002). I used crane 99893 springs and their steel retainers in Crane's no machine work kit. I changed my seals and had to machine the area were they sit. I had to get extra shims. I got these to save money and have no problems shifting at 6300. I would take them past 7000 if my short block could take it. If I had more money to play with I would get titianium retainers. The K-motion stuff, K-800 Springs, looks good but I have no experiance with it. It is REQUIRED to get Hardened pushrods if running Guide Plates!!!. If your heads are ported you will need bigger injectors with that cam.
