Exhaust Question Hey guys!! I would like to put on an after market exhaust system on my 96 SS. I was wondering if it is a direct bolt on installation? The reason, i ask is because the SS has the SLP 2OTL exhaust, which is way to quiet by the way, and the different manifolds on it. Thanks.

If you put headers on the 2OTL will be louder. It's still not really that loud but it's probably one of the best flowing mufflers out there. So be careful in picking something that is louder, it might actually cost you power. It's not in my budget yet to replace my 2OTL and since mine is in good condition I don't see any reason to get rid of it. I hate the tailpipes on the left look, but it's all about the power!
