And check the vacuum lines to the Cruise control vacuum under the ECM right above the battery as they corrode easily.
Also, turn the car off and stereo, roll up the windows and start the Vette, then slowly pull forward and you should hear a grinding noise behind the drivers seat, if you do then the ASR is good. It is the valves in the ASR correcting them selves for operation. Now, there is a button underneath the headlight switch which looks like a little Vette laying rubber. Pushit and see if the ASR Off light comes on. If all this is checked and nothing looks bad or you dont hear the valves working when you first drive off you might need to go further into troubleshooting.
