LT1 Hesitation

Has anyone expirenced a hesitation when the engine warms up. When iam crusing for a while and the engine temp goes up and i accelerate form a stop the rpms will drop for a second and then climb up. Right after the engine catches up with the throttle it sends a check engine light. I was just wondering what the possibile problems could be. I am going to get the obd 1 checked out soon but i want to know if anyone has expirenced this before...Please tell me its not the optispark. And when i saw it hesitates i mean it damn near stalls for a second.

Find out what code the check engine light is for. That may give you a clue.

had that same thing happen it turned out to be a code 33 (map sensor) good luck
