Looks just like my dyno run!!

Dump that stock throttle body and do a TB bypass and you will be hanging with me for dyno numbers... and maybe even better.

Nice set-up for a M6, even better if it's an auto!

says he has a ram power grip clutch in his post so im sure its a 6sp
Very stout H/C numbers on an LT1 man. You hoping for 405-410rwhp w/ the 58mmTB?

not very good for a 290cfm heads.. I guess your intake manifold is stock (unported) Because with these flows you should see at least 410+rwhp

Agreed except that he says the intake is port matched.
Both AI and LE get this sort of power with 275cfm heads sometimes even more even through autos but those are different cams.

Overall nice number I just question the honestly of the flow numbers, or maybe that is the peak flow and lo/midlift just blows.

The intake manifold is stock except it being port matched to the heads, yes I need a tb and ported intake but that will have to wait a little because I need tires first cant hook with this power right now lol. Yes I was expecting 410+ with this setup right now so im not really sure whats holding me back. Ill try and post up the flow sheet to the heads asap. But does anyone have any ideas why its making 10 or so hp short? What have other people made with similar setups with my cam? Thanks in advance. And like hugger99 said I have a ram clutch so yes its an m6

Mark

oh and I have to wait until my engine warranty is over in the summer to put a 150 shot on it, damn that will be nice.

You can easily get 20-25rwhp with a ported intake and 58mm TB.. You definitely should do that.

Anybody else think that is a little over ambitious?

Yes

Like I said I think there is an issue here with accuracy of flow numbers or the heads suck at anything but peak, without knowing more there guessing is hard.

I was thinking 290cfm was pretty decent flow numbers from a stage2 LT1 head so is it the unported intake manifold the only thing holding back the heads? Whats they average flow specs on a stage2 ported LT1head?

Those numbers are well above the reputble stage 3 hence my skepticism.

I would expect a little more assuming the low and mid flow numbers fall in with the above average peak numbers. A custom cam similar to the 306 would have put you over 400 mark, in my mind, the way it sits. 25whp is def. a little high for a 58mm TB and the intake opened up for it. It will put you over the 400-405 mark for sure with what you got.

Man if thats the case on your Lt1 heads, why the hell did I spend over $2500 on LE ported LT4 AFR heads with bigger intake valves that only see 290 at .600

Porting his intake will help, same case as me. I've been told by a reputable porter I will see about 15rwhp. He is charging alomost nothing to do it so it's not a money making scheme for him. he is a friend that does it on the side now since he is a pilot.
