To say the least.... 20cc

It's funny how the guys who put up NHRA national records talk about having too much velocity, but the average joe thinks you can't get enough of it?

Looks like another thread to race flow benches again.

I've seen stock castings go over 280cfm in a REAL customers port not some made up numbers. I'm going to test two sets later this week, one from CNC heads in Fl and one from a semi local guy, along with some AFR and TFS heads from Lloyd, and a set of AFR's from Larry Meaux.

LT4 heads can do 300cfm without too much trouble. Seen that from Lloyd, Meaux and TEA.

What heads are those ATLJAR?? I have seen you on the boards for a while. I am going a GM847 soon like you ran in your car. I was thinking on getting even better heads after the install(or at the same time).

Those are AFR 210's he has..... my guess is maybe BES did them? If so they will make the power that those numbers suggest and more.

AFR's are the **** but i dont really want to spend that kind of money on heads for a LT1, maybe if it was a LS1 i would consider it.

Are you inferring AI is the 'average joe', or 94greencamaro? Just curious.

Stock LT1 castings, work done by Port Pros...
2.02 int / 1.57 exh
.100= 71.8 / 60.2
.200= 143.9 / 112.4
.300= 191.7 / 150.8
.400= 240.2 / 176.6
.500= 273.1 / 190.8
.600= 287.3 / 195.4

Paid around $1400 to have them added to the 383 short-block he was already building for me. Just waiting on my intake and water pump housing to get back from the powdercoaters to put it all together. Should make good power with 15psi and a comp xfi 280 cam.

Anyone who thinks that.

You might be able to get a port to work well with a LOT of velocity probing at a smaller runner size, but it's just not needed. The short turn and pushrod pinch velocities are going to be much much higher in a stroker than in a 350.

Either way... most people do not understand port velocity, even the major head companies and some of the guys who develop their ports.

reviving......would love to see numbers (please post flow for all known lifts) from lesser known porters as well and please list who ported them and as much info on them as you know (intake cc's/valve size/casting). Would like to see numbers from those with GTP, MTI, Port Pros, RGR (speed inc), Blackstone, Eric Bradby, TEA, etc.

Really? I didn't know 205cc heads were 20cc's bigger than 200 cc heads.
And here are my flow #'s to add to the thread.

Head specs

Pro-Action 235 converted to reverse flow.

Flowed on a 4.060 bore, no pipe on the ex.

In Ex

.200 145 109
.300 199 140
.400 251 177
.500 292 200
.600 312 218
.700 318 224

These numbers look a little low, the reason for that is most all head porters post flow numbers produced on a 4.125 bore fixture. These numbers are from a 4.060 fixture, After they were milled, milled ALOT he he
