i have a 94 formula that i recently did an engine swap on. i got everything hooked up and tok some off the better parts of the old motor, but anyway she runs. i also put on some pacesetter lt's and a full 3" exhaust. but for some reason it is slower than before. it's a A4 and before when i floored it the *** end was all over the place and now it makes a ton of noise but won't go anywhere. also i'm pretty sure someone messed with the pcm because it bounces off the rev lim. before it shifts @6.2 rpm. is there anything to change my pcm? like lt1 edit? i'm new to f body stuff so? if anyone could help me out please!!!

 

I had the same problem, I didnt have the 02 sensor hooked up, some say that could have caused it, Also, I just removed the headers, and my gasket was blown! Even without tuning it should still run faster... I think something is wrong besides the computer.

 

yeah i just put the longtubes on it also idles rough. i think it might be the opti? not sure though
