Default Another Sneak Peak ! Mo install ....

One of these days I will stop putting parts on the car and actually drive it..
I'm getting ready to install the Dyna-Spark opti and the Delteq billet opti cover that I had chromed. Also, I started replacing the stock Delteq coils with the MSD red coil and interface modules. Hopefully this weekend I will get it finished.
So much to do and so little time......

I don't have all the little wiring finished yet, but I'm close. It will look more sanitary by this weekend I will have more pics of the setup when I'm finished.

I also started cleaning up the front drivers side of the engine, removed the air pump and blocked-off and wire tied all the little stuff out of the way. I really like the look of an LT1 once you get the crap out of the way

That billet cover is sweet. I thought about doing that myself but not having it in chrome but after viewing that makes me want to reconsider!

Looks great! I like the billet cover, what's your opinion on Dynaspark? I personally think they are overpriced considering they use a GM OPTI, port out the opti plastic internals a little (what their tech told me), use the same rotor, eye sensor, same bearing, but I love their billet housing, best part of the entire unit.

I'm going LTCC with MSDs new LS1 coil packs, they aren't cheap but I like the coil p/plug and programming flexibility of LTCC vs Delteq, I wonder if Delteq sells just their billet cover or if it's a kit only kind of thing?

Brettinator, I think the Dynaspark opti is a little overpriced, but what are we gonna do until there is a different option (like the MSD pro billet opti). I personally think the unit is very well done and would certainly recommend it to anyone until the MSD pro billet piece becomes available at about $100 less I basically have all the features of the LTCC with the MSD DIS4 and inter-rupt modules, but it cost me a bunch of extra money to have the flexibility of the LTCC

PIPES, you know how I feel about your car

SS97dml, I think you must have the cleanest 97SS I have ever seen

Thanks for all the compliments !
