Default LT1 Valve Covers

I've got to replace some gaskets and am looking for a nice set of valve covers, but I can't seem to find some, other than the ones that are on ebay. Anyone know of any sites that sell some. Also would like to see some pics of people with aftermarket valve covers.
Thanks

ive got a set of chrome ones but im not really sure where they came from. you should be able to find some from summit they just have center bolts rather than bolting down on the side.

You'll need to either find a set notched for the altenator or grind a little bit off your altenator to clear a non-notched set.
Im doing the latter, because it was about $35 cheaper to get a set without a notch and then spend 10min grinding on the back of the altenator.
Ive heard that another option is to use a Powermaster altenator originally intended for a TPI f-bod. They are shorter front to rear, so they'll clear the std. centerbolt covers. You just have to get the high amp version to match our factory pieces amperage output. Factory LT1 altenators I believe are 140amp.
Good luck

Here are some pictures of mine. They are already notched for the alternator on the passenger side and you can get them in either chrome plated or polished aluminum. Mine are polished. They can be bought from www.performancechrome.com
EDIT: Mine are part# 6034-1 and they are $99.95 polished.
