Would a third gen center console fit in my 95 T/A? I know a lot of people will think this is a bad idea, but I'm not a big fan out our consoles. I think they're fugly. Third gens have more room for switches and such, they're a lot smoother and cleaner looking, plus I like the positioning of the power window switch more on third gens.

I've noticed that our consoles seem to be a little more on the narrow side, so I'm wondering if I could squeeze it in between our seats.

 

I think its a cool idea. Im sure you can fit it, I dont know if the dash will be in line though, but im sure you can put the console centered in between the seats.

 

I would be very inclined to say yes, as people with thirdgens have done the reverse.

 

Im sure some turd gener would gladly trade you his...

The thing is, third gens seem to have a ton more room on the inside. I remember the first time I sat in my 88 Formula, I was shocked to find how much room there was on the inside. I grew to love where those window switches were. Guess I'd better learn to reroute and solder wires now

We (I say we b/c I'm still a thirdgenner @ heart) have been swapping 4th gen consoles in for ages. It /could/ work for you. Give it a shot.
