#8 Plug is really really loose.

I was driving home today and my exhaust was poping a lot when i was off the throttle. I got on it and could hear anything but thats most likely because of my open headers. I checkd the wires and plugs and the #8 plug is so loose its almost falling out. Why all the sudden would my plug be this loose? Is this whats causing my wierd sounding exhaust?

yea your probably loosing compression in that cyl.. tighten it down carefully to make sure it ain't stripped...

So tighten it. A lot of people don't tighten the back ones as much cause they're "hard to get to".

You said you're running headers, if you want the easiest way to get to number 8, take the starter out and you're staring right at it.

Well i looked at all my wires again and it was #4,8,3 that were loose. Ive tightend all them up and now my exhaust sounds a lot better.

Well ted, ive decided to order a mailorder tune from madz28 and then during the 2 weeks before the highschool race im gona do my cam swap.
Its gona be sweet this year man, with your boosted Speed Density and my N/A, mmmm the blis.
