LT4 Hot Cam
It's a new camshaft for your car. If you're unsure of what it is, I'd advise having a professional install it. If one thing is done wrong, your motor will most likely kill itself.
To buy the parts (GOOD quality parts, the stuff you SHOULD buy) will run you around $1000. To have it installed depends on local labor prices. I would expect them to charge you about 6-8 hours labor.
All in all close to $2000 paying someone to do it.
With your mods (and a tune for the cam) you'd gain around 40 rwhp. With some heads you'll see much more.

I'm installing mine with all bolt on's and if I can affored it i'll get a port polish job for my Heads and intake.
Im shooting for 340 rwhp.
But i would have opted for a better cam, GM847, cc305..etc.
the hot cam (as i read) is a good cam but there are cams that offer better resaults that have been proven with dyno tests.

TRhe HOT cam can work but it's popularity is not based on performance. if you have to ask a question like this you are a good year or two away from being able to intelligently consider a mod like this and by then you will have hopefullty learned enough to choose a different cam.
