What seems slow for the mods? The motor?

If so you have headers,lt1edit{tuning} and 3.73's. I sure if I had those mods it would be low 13's with 106/108 mph.

HOW DID YOU GET A 1.78 60FT on street tires?

1.78 on street tires is extra ordinary there must have been VHT like no tommorow on the track!

MPH depends on a lot of factors...gear ratio, transmission type, weather and more importantly altitude....hard to say, but my can runs anywhere from 112-115.

I have cut a best of a 2.20 60ft on street tires {fusion zri's} with my m6. What is a good 60ft for a street tire with a m6. Not Drag Radial but true street tire. On a prep track I could maybe get a low 2.1 but I don't see 2.00 or high 1.9's unless it's on a DR.

m6 with cai, cutout,tb bypass and gutted cat i should be running low 13's? The only lt1 I see running low 13's have LT's and a few more bolt-ons.

I was cutting low 1.9s, the occasional high high 1.8 on street tires in my M6 LS1 TA....with little to no track prep....its all in leaving at that perfect RPM, with the right amount of clutch slip.

btw, what part of texas are you from....if its anywhere like Lubbock, i understand where you are coming from, our average DA here is somewhere around 5500, with an actual elavation of 3200.....Even fast cars ar slow here, lol!

Austin,tx...

But lt1's have alot more low end grunt then ls1's do. 2100/2200 rpm slip it spinning about 5 or6 ft and goes anything less is a bog and anything more hammers the tires.

My LS1 had mid range and top end.

It may feel that way, but if you look at the dyno graphs, stock to stock the LS1 out powers the LT1 through out the entire band.

I have owned a LS1 and driven quite a few at the track. A ls1 requires more rpm it launch it without bogging then a lt1 does. The motor does not like low end at all.

What is a realiztic 60 ft for a lt1 m6 on street tires not DR's.

I have seen M6 LT1s on street tires 60 footing into the mid 1.90s here.
