Question Battery keeps dying

Does anyone have a problem with their car battery dying over night usually. I bought a new battery not to long ago and but the car wont start up sometimes . I have to give it a boost. Anybody ever go through this with their lt1?

Never had it happen but check for parasitic drain. should solve your problem

I did. I kept burning the terminals. I finally put some grease on them and no problems since.

I had that. Turned out to be the light in the console storage box that never went out (lid not pushing the switch in all the way). Yanked the bulb out and never had an issue since.

A f'ing light bulb that small drained your battery?!?!?!

Check your altenator. Autozone and places like that will do it for free. Also check your battery terminals. If they look a little worn, just spend $5 and get some nice new ones slapped on there. Those are probably your two best bets.

Same with me, and then when my battery was pretty old it would drain real quick (like 20 min. with a light on), finally put a new one in and haven't had problems since.

figured it out. my amp was draining the battery when the car was off. so now when i turn off the radio i dont leave it on standby mode. i hold the button completely down that what it shuts off completely.
