missin at 5 grand

missin at 5 grand i changed my cap and rotor about a week ago.and this week i did my wires and my coil.i never really drove it hard until today.and at about 5 grand i felt it miss. 
what could it be?i hope its not the cap and rotor.that was a bitch to do.i put it on exactly how it came off.and it didnt throw any codes either.it was pretty late and i didnt feel like driving around seeing if i could
make it do it again.i'll post what happens tomorrow.thanx

well having done this about 2 weeks ago it is still fresh on my mind. i too had a miss at 5000 rpm. but does yours feel like one cylider not fireing on more than one at a time? but anyways i replaced my opti and cap/rotor and it fixed it. mine also didnt throw any codes and the car straight up died on the side of the road. i know that everyone always blames the problem on the opti(with good reason) but in this case i think it is. i replaced mine and it went away.
