speeding tickets mainly... low miles, nothing to worry about. Seems like opti spark distributor is a common thing to go out. It will fail if it gets moisture inside it. Mine has always been fine with 90K on the odo.

Sinse the opti is notorious for dieing, I would coat it with Silicon or something to prevent flooding of it. Other than that, you should be fine. The paint is also known to fade/crack, but that's not really considered a PROBLEM i guess. Also, the rears are the weakest link in F-Bodies, so don't go beating on them too much and it'll last as long as you do... which is hopefully a long time!

Paint isn't a problem I'll take car of that. I detail on the side. so i have to keep her looking good..

Funny thing is everyone on the subbie board says the same thing.. that their paint sucks. but you know what.. my Baja has 31 k of hard hitten highway miles and two winters and i have only a handful of rock marks.. I'm sure it's because i keep a god layer of sealant on her durning the winter.. any ways back to engines and other stuff..

yes the car was babied..

only thing i can think of that you may need to replace is the water pump. and watch that opti spark haha those things tend to go quickly

treat it well, it is a tamed beast. drive it normally, untill a mustang rolls up and honks 3 times ;-)

As far as problems.. if it's an auto pay very close attention to how it shifts. Should be fine at 31k but 4L60E's aren't exactly bulletproof. Also pay close attention to ANY noises from the rear end. Make sure to put it on a rack and check for leaks. If you notice oil behind the intake, don't freak, it's not a rear main. LT1's are notorious for intake leaks in the back chinawall.

At 31k you're pretty safe though.
