00 Trans am WS6?

00 Trans am WS6? I test drove a 2000 trans am WS6 today and I was impressed. I currently have a 94 A4 Z28 with LT's, Matching Y-pipe, LT4 KM and a CAI. I ran an 8.4 in the 1/8 and didn't have the best 60'.
I think this trans am would pull on my car up top. (Maybe even in the 1/8) The motor felt very strong, but the car was in sh*tty condition. Anyway, I was wondering what else I can do to my car to be next to that TA up top? What more do I need to be at that kind of speed? (Maybe I'm pretty close right now, but it felt like it would pull on top end) Any advice on what I need to take one from a roll? (Hopefully it's nothing to expensive. Maybe I'm further off than I think...)
I was thinking about getting that WS6, but the paint has some scratches and the interior has a tear on the driver side. It also looks like the owner opened his door into someone. They were selling it for 13,9xx with 74,xxx miles on it. 6-speed t-tops. No wrecks on carfax or anything...

The hot cam is great cam but i made the mistake of getting it in my car driving it around for about 500 miles and being bored and then finding out there are way better streetable cams. Just do your research before buying the Lt4 hot cam.

The hot cam is a pretty close cousin to a stock cam. If you want a noticable gain..go with somethink larger than that. Also, you can do more to help your car "feel" faster, gears, shift kit (will make it feel faster with a punchier shift into a higher gear) I would, if it were my car, go with the rear end gears first. Then i'd tackle a head and cam package down the road. You can do wonders by simply porting the stock LT1 heads.
