That hood is made by ASCD and is an EXACT replica of the factory '96-'97 WS6 hood. The cheesy grills were made in 5minutes because there were really no others available. The factory black plastic pieces run like $50 each and was not willing to pay even close to that for 2 small plastic grills.

That's the best looking hood on LT1 T/A's imo, and honestly a T/A with that hood is the best looking F-Body, with the LT1 SS's in a close 2nd and then the LS1 WS6's and SS's are tied for 3rd, again, very little margin since i love them all. American Sports Car Design is...well was a great company, we got all our hoods from them and didn't really have many complaints. You got a great deal there bud, you'll love the look, if the car is red then get rid of those grills and get black ones, if it white then they look ok, all depends on what you have to accent it. As for the LS1 WS6 hood, I don't like them, they don't match the lines of these cars and only look good on LS1 Birds

I have a GM WS-6 hood I am about to sell. It is the real deal, I got it off a 97 ws-6 that was t-boned and totaled. Hood is in great shape. $400ish locally if anyone is interested. send me a message

$180 isn't bad at all if they have to color blend it onto the fenders and bumper and then clear it all. Actually that's pretty damn cheap. I know if I was doing one for someone that wanted it done right it would be more like $500, of course it depends on the color, black is black and you can shoot it off the car, but reds and whites never match without color blending, then again most of these cars have metalics too, so that makes it a pain as well.

Yep, my car needs one, but I just can't bring myself to paint a car with a perfect factory paint job. And I know it is not going to match, never had a car that did after blending. Not to mention, it is very hard to duplicate a factory job as far a durability goes. If I had a black car I'd prolly already have a hood on it, but my formy is dark metallic green. Damn, those hoods really make a 93-97 formy look good though!
