what cam
what cam hey guys what do yall think would be a good cam to go with ive got 1.6 rockers NSA with guideplates and chromemoly pushrods and LT4 valvesprings.... i was looking for something around the specs of the hotcam but im not sure if there is something i would be better off with.... stock heads just rebuild with all of the stuff listed above and stock block just got flattop pistons.... so it will have to work with all of that.... i think the LT4 springs are rated to like .530 lift so thats kinda a limitation.... also dont forget the 1.6 rockers will change the lift so it would have to be within in the limits of the valves with those rockers
FYI the LT4 springs limit more than just the valve lift, they limit the lobes you can run as well. The HotCam is a good cheap cam upgrade, after that though you can find good gains with a very driveable package.
