Default hvac delete question

when removing what are some of you using to plug the hoses off at the water pump thanks

Just get a 3/8ths hose and a union and two extra clamps, thats what I did while my Heater core was leaking. Quick fix, because it is a pain in the butt to change out the core

I used a couple heavy duty vacuum caps and worm clamps.
Its working just fine so far.

I bought a 92 Corvette water pump which came from the factory with only one heater hose pipe and cut it off with a carbon cutting wheel then welded the hole shut with Alumalloy. I'm in the process of polishing the pump now but I'll throw up some pics when it's done.

That's the way I'm going to do mine.. (pulling the steel lines and welding the holes shut....)...

Much cleaner and gives you more room to work around the water pump without those two lines sticking up....

I would just chop the hard lines, then thread the holes and seal them with plugs. That way if you ever need to tap off the water pump (oil cooler, etc) you can put in an AN fitting or something.
