LT1 Cam help (unusual application)
LT1 Cam help (unusual application) A friend of mine has an 80's S10 with an al headed LT1, it has longtubes, 3.73's, and a 2000 stall, what cam and springs will work well for him? The raceweight will be about 3300 with him in it.

i think the hot cam will work. yeah a bigger stall would be nice, but 3300lb race weight isnt bad, so it shouldnt be to hard to get that thing moving.
best bang for the buck would be the hot cam kit, comes with springs, rocker arms, and the cam.
now if he wants to spend a little more money, go with a custom cam, he will get more torque and hp out of it that way... just cost more.
