What sucks is I've yet to find a good book, manual or whatever that would help me learn the basics.

In fact I liked it for the life virtual changes we could make while the car was running but it was tough with no manuals to help us understand all the ins and outs.

Yes I'm in Bahrain. I hear Tag is good with LS1's but how many LT1's has he done? I have talked to him before long time ago. Seems like a cool guy.

I'm not sure if I'm willing to be a lab rat. Way to much time and money went into my motor to have someone start tuning it who hasnt tuned LT1's before even though I'm sure it's no different than tuning a LS1. I would like to first talk to some of the guys he's tuned for, and review thier dyno sheets etc.

Default Where can I find TunerCats?

Hi, I have a tuner shop in Alpharetta, GA, Top Speed - Topspeedsales.com. I am trying to buy either TunerCats of LT1 Edit, in order to expand my business in the domestic cars market. Doug Wilks is the tuner and his reputation is great. Anybody knows where I can find these products? Thank you for your help. Paul.

tunercat.com, carputing.com

For a shop TC will be way cheaper than LT1 edit. You can get both obd1 and 2 for about $500, would be several thousand for lt1 edit unlimited versions.

Actually, the OBD2 version of tunercat is now available ONLY through Jet Performance Products. The price has also been jacked up to $499 (2 vehicles). I know this because I was about to buy it from tunercat directly and then found out about the new license agreement with Jet. Now I have to re-consider LT1 edit.

That's wrong. Tunercats said you can still get thier products direct., Youve been misinformed. email tc's before asking for proof.

I already emailed tunercat a couple weeks ago. See his response to my email below. Keep in mind this is only for the OBD2 version. He is still selling the OBD1 version directly.

Hi Dave,

Yes, that's correct. We were getting to the point that we were no longer
able to provide the customer support that we thought we should and still do
development work. So JET is taking over the new sales and support for the
OBDII Tuner program.

With regards to the pricing, keep in mind that this price is their list
price and since they are selling the software through their normal
distributors, it will be discounted.

Yes, the JET OBDII Interface (same interface but in a different package)
will be compatible with the MXScan software.

Best regards,

TC

Hello,

As I understand it from your website, the obdii tuner is now only available
through jet performance products? I'm disappointed because I was planning
on buying it from you and now I see they're charging $120 more for the basic
package. Will the Jet version work with the mxscan software being developed
by monodax? I really wish I would have ordered sooner instead of dragging
my feet.

Thanks,
Dave
